Very Happy With This Stroller!

I have a 23 month old and a 6 week old and initially thought the Joovy Caboose would be the stroller for us. Thank goodness we had the opportunity to try one out before we bought it! With the Joovy, if you have an infant carrier in the front seat, there is no room at all for the older child to sit on the jump seat. Also, for some strange reason, the jump seat slides back and forth which seems very unsafe. So if you have an infant in a carrier and your older child wants to sit, the older child is out of luck. What's the point of that?

With this stroller, the older child has 3 options - sit in the back seat, sit on the jump seat or stand on the platform. The back seat can be removed fairly easily and stored in the basket underneath and my little girl (who is tall for her age) has plenty of room. She sometimes dangles her feet over the foot rest but this is not an issue. Our infant carrier easily slides into the front seat and is secured with a belt.

This stroller opens and closes easily and is very easy to control as it steers beautifully - it's not nearly as long as I thought it would be but both children have plenty of room. Since it has the footprint of a single stroller, it fits through doors and entranceways with no problem. It is a little heavy when folded but I don't think I would find a stroller with these features that's not. The basket is nearly impossible to get to but I can live with it. Overall, I'm thrilled with this purchase and every single time I use it, someone stops me to ask about it. One woman even said, "That's the most practical double stroller I've ever seen." I have to agree.
This is the only stoller you will ever need.

Reviewer: Jeremy Harris,
Why did I ever buy a Graco Duoglider Double Stroller????

I got this stroller today. Previously I had the Graco Double Stroller. When this stroller is set up with the back seat in place it is fairly identical to the Graco Duoglider except it is less expensive AND converts to allow you to continue using it as the kids get older. The only benefit I see so far to the Graco is the bigger basket. I was afraid to buy this stroller without seeing it first but I took a chance because I saw nothing but good reviews. It is great. That back seat snaps on and off in seconds. I just undo the two snaps on each side and let it fall back behind the jump seat. I don't even bother taking it all of the way off.

I put my 3.5 year old in the front seat to see what everyone was saying about it being small. It held him just fine. The only problem I could see is if you had a child with a large stomach. The tray is a little closer to the child's tummy than in other strollers. I put my 3.5 year old in the back seat when it is fully put together. He fits great there too (without the foot rest).

The only negative so far is that as people have said the back seat when in place is always in the recline position. And I think that is the only position it can go in. Also there is no cushion onthe jump seat. I jsut put a folded blanket on it that stays in the basket. Even without it it is not bad.

But over all this is a great stroller. The price was great too. I also did notice that it is the same size (or has the same footprint) as my Graco Duoglider where other strollers that are made like this (like the Joovy) have a smaller footprint. But if you are used to pushing around another double stroller, this feels the same.

Came fully assembled too. All you have to do is click on the wheels. No tools needed.
Happy MOM! LOVE this for my 6 month old and 3 Year old

Great stroller! So easy to use. It's smooth and lightweight. It fits just fine in the back of my minivan. My 3 year old loves the options to sit or to stand. My 6 month old fits nice and snug in the front. I have no complaints and have showed it to my friends, who also really like it. I compared and researched a number of strollers and am so pleased with this purchase. The parent tray could be larger, but that's my only beef with the stroller. I have back problems and I think that it's easy to manuver and steer and I don't really notice a weight difference between this and my single Peg P. stroller. LOVE IT!
A Great Stroller

I just recieved this stoller today. Assembly was very easy and no piece was difficult to to put on the stoller. It folds easily and compactly, although the front canopy sticks up; however, that canopy can easily be taken off. Opening and closing the stoller is easy, although I don't think it'll stay closed using the latch. It's very "movable" when closed, it doesn't feel bulky and heavy. I really like the 5 point harnesses instead of just the lap belt restraints.

Now, I'll address some of the concerns I read while researching which stoller to buy. The basket is difficult to reach: Yes, that's true. But you can get to the basket through the side. Not a lot of leg room for the child in back, especially when using the infant attachment: Again true. But, if the child doesn't have enough leg room, use the sit/stand jump seat. The stroller is long: Yes, it is long, especially when using the infant attachment. However, when buying a double stroller, you either go wide or long. I choose long and this stroller, without the infant attachment, is the same length as my old Graco Duo Glider.

To sum it up: When buying a double stroller you give up some of the convience in order to have two kids strapped down and safe, and this stoller is safe. Also, it's versatile. This is a great double stroller, and when compared to other double strollers I've used/tested, it's by far the best.
2 or 3 kids? No problem for the Sit N' Stand Plus!

Reviewer: Christina M. Scofield,
Ok, here's the deal on double strollers. Like everyone else, we had the Duo Glider, even the one with the inflatable wheels to help when turning. Hands down, the Sit N' Stand Plus is head and shoulders better and here's why...
1. With this stroller, you CAN FIT 3 KIDS ON THIS STROLLER!! We have a 3.5 and 1.5 year old with a newborn coming in December '08. We put 3 kids in this stroller when trying it out and this is how we did it, infant in front, 1.5 year old in middle, 3.5 year old standing in the rear using the safety strap to keep him from falling backwards into whoever's pushing the stroller. The best way to do this effectively is to do as another reviewer stated and place a bar behind the rear seat back inside the small triangular metal brackets on the handlebar portion of the stroller, this allows the rear child to sit more upright and thus have room for the older third child in the rear.
2. This stroller GLIDES way better than the DuoGlider, even without the inflatable wheels that the DuoGlider had (that always went flat).
This stroller is easy to fold, easy to handle, NOT THAT HEAVY!! If you think this stroller is heavy, then you haven't held a child on each hip before. This stroller is not that heavy compared to any other double stroller on the market.
3. Finally, the price is fantastic, we looked all over for a double stroller at the consignment stores and department stores, this is our 4th stroller, we've had a side by side jogger, a Graco Single stroller, a side by side folding umbrella stroller, and a DuoGlider, thank goodness we found this stroller when we did. This is by far the best stroller out there for 2 or 3 kids, beats the Kolcraft as well. If you're considering the Kolcraft, safe some money and buy this stroller, there are more useful options on this stroller than the Kolcraft. You can't fit 3 kids in the Kolcraft unless one is sitting on another's lap.
Anyway, I hope this helps, if you don't believe me, just take your 3 kids to Target and load them into this stroller and you'll see just what I mean.
